Building community awareness and involvement is an effective way to address the risks and prevent substance misuse among youth. We offer pre-recorded and in-person trainings that can be customized to meet your needs.

The Prevention 101 training is focused on prevention methods and why they are critical for the community. Also included, are brain development basics and why delaying the onset of substance use is essential.

The Youth Mental Health First Aid training is designed for anyone working with youth.
Per the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, “Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis”.
Format: In person, group setting
